The Role

The role of a QA (Quality Assurance) professional, whether focused on Automation or Manual testing, plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software and applications.


Skills Requirements

Mandatory Skillset – Manual Testing, Knowledge of Automation Testing and Automation Tool, Accessibility Testing

Secondary Skillsets – Stakeholder Management, Strong Communication skills


Requirements

  • Required 5-8 years of relevant QA technical experience.
  • Experienced in Accessibility Testing is required.
  • Knowledge of Automation Testing and any Automation Testing tools is required.
  • Create clear, concise, detail-oriented test plans/cases.
  • Review design specifications to ensure understanding of the project.
  • Identify test requirements from specifications and design testing to ensure coverage of the project.
  • Experienced in developing, documenting, and maintaining test cases, including data and scripts used.
  • Experienced in executing and evaluating manual or automated test cases and reporting test results.
  • Identify any potential quality issues and immediately report to the manager.
  • Isolate, replicate, and report bugs and verify bug fixes.
  • Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
  • Communicate with the development and project management team.
  • Ability to lead and work as part of a team with good work ethics.
  • Strong communication skills are required (oral and written).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills are required.
