This role requires a thorough understanding of contract law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments within the company. The successful candidate will be an important part of the legal team at a dynamic global cybersecurity technology company. This person must have a “deal doer” mindset to help accelerate the closing process for the sales organization while still being able to protect the company’s interests and manage risk through contracts. This role requires experienced negotiating skills in getting Cloud/SaaS and software licensing contracts completed with Fortune 100 & Fortune 500 customers, and has a passion for negotiating win-win agreements. </p> <p><u>What You’ll Do</u></p> <ul> <li>Review, redline, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including Software Agreements for SaaS/Cloud, and non-disclosure agreements. </li> <li>Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies and the relevant US regulations, if applicable. </li> <li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, finance, IT, compliance) to understand business needs and incorporate them into contract terms. </li> <li>Utilize contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms and legal technology tools to manage contract processes efficiently. </li> <li>Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, recommending improvements to contract templates and workflows. </li> <li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, and privacy trends affecting contract negotiations.</li> </ul> <p><u>What You’ll Bring</u></p> <ul> <li>A bachelor’s degree is required</li> <li>A minimum of 6+ years’ experience as a contract negotiator for Cloud/SaaS agreements, preferably with a company in a similar field. </li> <li>General knowledge of GDPR and privacy provisions in agreements </li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Salesforce, and contract management platforms. </li> <li>Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Thorough understanding of key provisions of Cloud/SaaS and software license agreements and the ability to independently negotiate with customers, including Fortune 100 & Fortune 500 clients.</li> <li>Self-motivated, proactive, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Clear communicator with excellent verbal and writing skills. </li> <li>Well organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in managing work schedule. </li> <li>Effective at explaining contract principles and policies to internal business teams. </li> <li>Flexible and adaptable in a changing and challenging environment; able to think ‘out of the box’ when unexpected/unplanned events arise </li> <li>Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external.</li> <li>Interest & knowledge of technology and current trends in the software / IT industry, including cybersecurity and privacy trends. </li> <li>Experience working in a remote environment.</li> </ul> <p><u>Better Together</u></p> <p>Diversity.
