Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

  • Lift Operation: Safely and effectively control the movement and speed of various lifts (chairlifts, surface lifts, conveyors, etc.) following all operational protocols.

  • Guest Experience: Greet every guest with enthusiasm, check tickets/passes, and provide loading/unloading assistance, especially to beginners and children.

  • Safety & Maintenance: Constantly monitor the lift terminal and ramps. This outdoor winter job requires frequent shoveling, ice removal, and raking to maintain a safe, clear operating zone.

  • Inspections: Conduct mandatory pre-and post-operation checks, immediately reporting any equipment malfunctions or potential safety hazards.

  • Emergency Response: Remain prepared and trained to assist with planned or emergency lift stops and potential evacuation procedures.

Minimum Job Requirements

We are searching for individuals who meet the following:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Reliable attendance is mandatory for a seasonal job. Must be available to work weekends, all holidays, and during peak periods.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor (shoveling, lifting up to 50 lbs) and stand for 8+ hours in extreme cold, snow, and wind.

  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: A consistently positive, helpful, and clear communication style.

  • A strong commitment to safety standards and detail-oriented work.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience operating machinery or in a high-volume customer service role.

  • Familiarity with ski resort operations or snow sports.
