Senior Product Marketing Manager, Yelp Host

Summary

Yelp for Restaurants is seeking a strategic, AI-first and outcome-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market for Yelp Host, our AI-powered platform for restaurants. You'll shape how an AI product goes to market, influence what gets built, and move fast in ambiguity. You will own deep customer and competitive research, GTM strategy and execution, and the positioning and sales enablement tools that help Yelp win in a fast-moving market. Restaurants are the primary market today, with a clear runway to expand Host into new verticals — making this an opportunity to define AI product marketing at scale. We're looking for someone who is ruthless about getting signals into the roadmap, can translate technically complex AI capabilities into crisp operator value propositions, and knows how to do more with less.

We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.

What you'll do:

Strategic Market Research & Customer Insights

Lead qualitative and quantitative research programs to understand operator needs, product-market fit, and willingness to pay across segments.

Conduct in-depth customer interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis to generate actionable insights that influence product roadmap and GTM decisions.

Develop and maintain competitive intelligence resources including battlecards and market positioning frameworks.

Surface and document insights from customer and sales conversations to create a continuous feedback loop across product, marketing, and sales.

GTM Strategy & Execution

Help define and execute the GTM strategy for Yelp Host growth, including expansion into new verticals, contributing to ideal customer profile (ICP) development, messaging, and launch planning.

Define and test go-to-market hypotheses quickly — run structured pilots, capture learnings, and scale what works.

Develop pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies (i.e. limited-time offers, packaging, pilot programs) that drive acquisition, monthly recurring revenue (MRR) growth, and retention.

Partner with lifecycle, performance marketing, and creative teams to execute multi-channel GTM campaigns with clear KPIs and structured readouts that demonstrate progress against business outcomes to leaders and cross-functional partners.

Proactively identify and tap into resources across Yelp's broader organization to build capabilities and scale work that a small team couldn't do alone.

Positioning, Messaging & Sales Enablement

Develop and iterate on audience-specific positioning and messaging for AI-native capabilities — including voice AI — translating technically complex features into clear, compelling value propositions that differentiate Yelp Host across restaurant operator segments and use cases.

Build and maintain sales enablement materials that empower inbound and outbound sales teams to close deals.

Source and develop compelling social proof assets that fuel campaigns and reinforce product credibility.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure major feature launches are supported with the right positioning, customer communications, and enablement materials.

What it takes to succeed:

5+ years of experience in product marketing or a related field within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.

Proven track record of conducting customer research (qualitative interviews, surveys, focus groups) and translating findings into actionable GTM strategy.

Experience developing GTM strategies for new products or segments in a B2B SaaS context — including ICP definition, messaging development, and launch execution.

Strong analytical mindset: you’re comfortable working with data to size opportunities, evaluate performance, and make recommendations.

AI-first working style: you actively use AI tools (LLMs, research assistants, automation) to accelerate synthesis, improve output quality, and do more with less.

Comfortable operating without complete resource allocation — able to build cross-functional coalitions, earn trust quickly, and pull in what you need without formal authority.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills — you write crisp briefs, tight decks, and compelling narratives for both executive and sales audiences.

Comfortable operating independently in an ambiguous environment with shifting priorities; you’re scrappy by default and able to move fast without sacrificing quality.

Bonus: experience marketing AI products with voice or conversational interfaces, or comparable emerging-tech product marketing at an early-stage company or within a 0→1 product inside a larger one.

What you'll get:

Effective your first day: Full medical, vision, and dental

15 days PTO (accrual begins on date of hire and increases with 2+ years of tenure thereafter), 12 paid holidays, plus one floating holiday

Up to 14 weeks of parental leave

Monthly wellness subsidy

Work from home reimbursement

Flexible spending account

401(k) retirement savings plan

Employee stock purchase plan

Compensation range for this position is $126,000- $236,000 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.

Closing
At Yelp, we believe that diversity is an expression of all the unique characteristics that make us human: race, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, and education — and those are just a few.
