Senior Manager, Product Management – Consumer Financial Service

Role Responsibilities: As the lead for this product area, you will define and drive a globally scalable yet locally tailored strategy across lending, card, bill pay, and other financial services products. You’ll work closely with regional teams to adapt solutions to local market dynamics, optimize existing funnels, and deliver impactful, customer-centric experiences across diverse geographies. Define and own the product strategy across a 36-month time horizon, aligning with business goals and customer needs. Lead end-to-end product delivery efforts, from discovery and requirements definition to launch and post-launch optimization, with minimal oversight. Collaborate closely with UX design and engineering teams to bring innovative, customer-centric financial services experiences to life. Partner with external technology and financial institutions to ensure seamless integration, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness. Write clear, actionable product requirement documents and user stories that guide engineering, design, and operations teams. Drive cross-functional roadmap alignment across core business stakeholders, regional product leads, engineering, compliance, legal, marketing, and customer care teams. Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams to define go-to-market requirements, including awareness campaigns, in-product merchandising, engagement strategies, and pricing programs. Conduct market research to uncover unmet customer needs, jobs to be done, and barriers to adoption, with or without formal research support. Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate to improve customer experience and business outcomes. Stay ahead of industry trends in digital financial services, lending, payments, and global consumer banking. Role Requirements: 5-7 years of product management experience in consumer financial services, fintech, or related domains. Proven success in developing and executing long-term product strategies across multiple product lines. T-shaped skill set: broad familiarity across lending, cards, payments, and digital banking, with deep expertise in at least one area. Strong understanding of financial product flows, compliance, and partner integrations. Experience building global experiences on top of APIs and optimizing funnels through customer-centric design. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external partners. Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions and measure success. Comfortable working independently and making decisions in ambiguous environments. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with KYC/CIP/AML processes and digital wallet ecosystems. Experience mentoring and leading a team of 1–3 product owners, with a focus on growth, collaboration, and delivery excellence. Experience working with globally distributed teams. Proven ability to optimize existing funnels and scale 0–1 product launches. Experience working with banking APIs, card processors, and payment platforms. Ability to synthesize customer insights and business needs into actionable product strategies.
