SAP ISU FICA Consultant (Entry-level)

**Position Summary**
The SAP ISU Consultant will play a key role in supporting and implementing SAP ISU FICA (Financial Contract Accounting) across core financial modules. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to develop expertise in enterprise resource planning, business process analysis, and SAP cloud/RISE technology. The role offers hands-on experience in configuration, data migration, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic project environment.

**Responsibilities**
· Participate in all phases of SAP ISU FICA implementation projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
· Assist in configuring and supporting core ERP modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA).
· Analyze and map business processes to ERP functionalities, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting.
· Support FICA and Record-to-Report (R2R) cycles, including hands-on data entry, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
· Work with EMIGALL (SAP Transaction code) templates for data migration and integration tasks (AR, GL, AP, FA).
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document requirements, create test scripts, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).
· Participate in the design and execution of financial reports
· Assist in the configuration of approval workflows, payment processes, and customer moves processes.
· Contribute to project documentation, knowledge transfer, and end-user training sessions.
· Engage in continuous learning and apply best practices in ERP implementation and support.
**Preferred Qualifications**
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, or related field.
· Understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and business process flows.
· Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
· Exposure to data migration tools, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
· Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and integration technologies.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute to team success.
**Desired Qualifications**
· Experience with hands-on configuration or support of SAP ISU FICA/FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, FA)
· Exposure to project-based work, including internship projects in ERP or financial systems.
· Familiarity with BI/reporting tools.
· Understanding of tax configuration, intercompany transactions, and multi-currency setups.
· Interest in automation, integration, and process optimization within ERP environments.
**Certifications (Preferred or Willing to Pursue)**

**Start Date**
New hires will start in **June 2026** in our Cognizant **Plano, TX** office. While we will attempt to honor candidate start date preferences, business need and position availability will determine final start date assignment. Exact start date will be communicated with enough time for you to plan effectively.
**Salary and Other Compensation:**
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
The annual salary for this position is $65,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
