This role supports operational efficiency and financial accuracy by leveraging strong analytical, mathematical, and customer service skills, including outbound communication. The position operates within a fast-paced, matrixed environment and collaborates across functions to support business objectives.<br><br>This is an exciting opportunity to apply analytical thinking, Excel expertise, and communication skills to impactful work that directly contributes to financial integrity and customer experience, while building expertise in a dynamic, detail-driven role.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li></li><li> Manages assigned caseload of claims that were overpaid due to various reasons in order ensure proper recovery follow-up and adherence to established guidelines.</li><li></li><li> Updates and maintains accurate records of overpayment recovery activities in various claims applications.</li><li></li><li> Adheres to established policies and practices to resolve overpayment issues.</li><li></li><li> Assists with referrals to vendors and follows-up on the status of pending claims with a recovery agency and/or vendor.</li><li></li><li> Write and send out letters with detail calculations.</li><li></li><li> Handling incoming and outgoing calls with various customers.</li><li></li><li> Assist with tax inquiries related to overpayments/repayments.</li><li></li><li> Performs other related duties as assigned or required.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>1–3 years of customer service experience, including outbound phone work</li><li>Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and formatting)</li><li>Strong mathematical and analytical skills</li><li>Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to interpret and follow process documentation</li><li>Effective written communication skills, including professional letter writing</li><li>Ability to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Comfortable working in a matrixed organizational structure</li><li>Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li></li><li> 1 year of Claims experience or similar experience.</li><li></li><li> Negotiation skills.</li><li> Experience with ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974) and Disability Plan and Policy Language.<br><br></li></ul>Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role r<strong>equiring a minimum of 3 days per week</strong> in office.<br><br><em>The expected salary range for this position is</em> <em>$41,600 - $45,000</em><em>. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives.
