Marketing Coordinator- Skilled Nursing Facility

About the Role

Comprehensive at Williamsville Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Marketing Coordinator to promote our skilled nursing and rehabilitation services throughout the Buffalo, NY region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare marketing and established relationships within hospitals, physicians’ networks, and community organizations. This individual will play a key role in increasing admissions, maintaining census, and strengthening the facility’s presence in the healthcare community.

Key Responsibilities

Hospital & Referral Outreach

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and physicians to generate referrals.

  • Conduct regular hospital visits, attend discharge planning meetings, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient transitions.

  • Identify new business opportunities and track referral trends within the region.

Community Engagement & Marketing

  • Represent the facility at community events, health fairs, senior centers, and local organizations.

  • Plan and execute community-based marketing initiatives and sponsorships that promote the facility’s programs and services.

  • Develop and distribute promotional materials that align with the facility’s branding and compliance standards.

Admissions Support

  • Partner with admissions and clinical teams to evaluate referrals and coordinate pre-admission processes.

  • Track, analyze, and report referral data and admission outcomes to guide marketing strategies.

Brand & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the facility and external partners.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the facility’s specialized services and rehabilitation programs.

  • Monitor competitors and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in healthcare marketing, business development, or admissions—preferably within skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or hospital settings.

  • Nursing home experience required.

  • Strong relationships with hospital discharge planners and healthcare professionals in the Buffalo region highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in basic communication programs; knowledge of Point Click Care a plus.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet goals.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
