You will provide management of field electrical services at remote sites, utilizing high technology services in a manner reflecting the Specialty Welding and Machining team's commitment to the highest levels of safety and quality.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will report to the Manager of Field Service Operations. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your Day to Day:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>All expectations of a Level III Electronics Technician.</li> <li>Independently complete E-tech specific projects.</li> <li>Use project resources and explain technical needs.</li> <li>Perform equipment troubleshooting, overhaul, and calibration for major welding power supply systems (e.g. Gold Track 2,5,6), EDM machining equipment, and T1 and T2 canister related equipment.</li> <li>Coordinate and transmit communications between Specialty Welding and Machining and management personnel.</li> <li>Complete technical and commercial aspects of contracts on the job site per agreed time frame. Meet milestones and document change orders and work scope. Notify Project manager, Specialty Welding and Machining management and customer(s) accordingly.</li> <li>Prepare shift and daily status report for the Specialty Welding and Machining, site and customer(s) management.</li> <li>Ensure personal and team practice and understanding of ALARA principles and a "Safety First" attitude as an integral part of all activities.</li> <li>Maintain a safe and ethical work environment as mandated by regulatory agencies, Specialty Welding and Machining policies procedures, and customer(s) requirements.</li> <li>Act as the subject matter expert (SME) to support development of training and lesson plans and ensure program implementation. Provide or obtain technical or management assistance to field personnel.</li> <li>Exercise and promote team building skills with peers, superiors, contractors, customers, and other departments.</li> <li>Develop and deliver performance feedback on personnel to management for specific projects or work assignments.</li> <li>Promote organizational initiatives and management objectives through self-control, and reinforcement management.</li> <li>Control project costs while maximizing optimum performance to meet requirements.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent required</li> <li>A minimum of four (4) years documented electronic experience in field construction.</li> <li>Evidence of repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of portable electrical, welding or machining equipment required.</li> <li>Education and certifications maybe substituted for experience.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
