Job Title Director of Business Development and Relationship Manager About your role As a Director of Business Development and Relationship Manager, you will drive revenue growth and strengthen strategic client relationships by identifying business opportunities, expanding existing partnerships, and aligning solutions to client objectives. You will work across sales, product, implementation, operations, and executive stakeholders to advance complex opportunities, deepen client engagement, and support long-term business growth for Fiserv. What you'll do Develop and execute business development strategies for assigned clients, prospects, or market segments to drive revenue growth and expand strategic relationships Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders to identify business needs, align solutions, and support long-term partnership goals Lead the sales cycle for complex opportunities, including discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiations, and contract execution Partner with product, implementation, operations, and support teams to coordinate client onboarding, solution expansion, and issue resolution throughout the relationship lifecycle Monitor market activity, client performance, and competitive trends to identify new opportunities, manage risks, and inform growth strategies Prepare and deliver business reviews, pipeline updates, opportunity forecasts, and relationship plans for leadership and key stakeholders Support cross-functional initiatives that improve client experience, increase retention, and strengthen commercial outcomes Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary. Experience you'll need to have 8+ years of experience in business development, relationship management, strategic account management, or sales within financial services, payments, fintech, or a related industry 8+ years of experience developing and managing complex client relationships, including executive stakeholder engagement, negotiations, and revenue growth planning 8+ years of experience leading solution-based sales efforts, contract discussions, and cross-functional coordination across internal teams and external client organizations Experience analyzing pipeline activity, client performance, and market trends to support forecasting, opportunity planning, and business growth decisions Experience preparing and delivering client presentations, business reviews, proposals, and commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, finance, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience Experience that would be great to have Experience working with financial institutions, enterprise merchants, or large strategic accounts Experience with customer relationship management systems, sales pipeline reporting tools, or contract lifecycle tools Familiarity with payment processing, issuing, acquiring, digital commerce, or embedded finance solutions Master’s degree or higher in business, finance, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience How you'll work This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
