About The Role:

The primary role of the Deal Desk Specialist is to manage and enable actions that drive the closure of sales opportunities through the ‘ready close won’ process up to and including the booking of all ‘clean’ opportunities in a timely fashion. Secondary responsibilities include working on special projects, engaging with cross-functional teams on opportunity specific matters and aiding with CPQ/SFDC inquiries. The person in this role will follow the fundamental basics of reliability, confidence, responsiveness, work with tasks with a sense of urgency and compassion, problem-solving and begin to establish good working relationships with cross-functional team members.

What You'll Do:

  • Exhibit basic proficiency in the following areas per finance policy and deal desk guidelines.

  • Processing Of Opportunities In SFDC/CPQ

  • Reconciliation of quotes to invoices

  • Order alignment to reseller and customer contract terms and conditions

  • Meeting of revenue recognition guidelines/SOX compliance policy

  • Can be relied upon to give quoting guidance, remedy issues, and entrusted by stakeholders to provide Deal Desk expertise

  • Able to multi-task different projects and complete them in a timely manner. 

  • Closely partner with key cross-functional teams (sales, legal, product mgt, and finance) to drive deal closure.

  • Quickly and efficiently resolve booking related issues by collaborating with sales, billing, revenue recognition and other key partner teams.

  • As it relates to preparing opportunities for closing, provide guidance on ‘bookable deals’ to sales and support teams to ensure opportunities are staged to book in a timely manner.

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of CrowdStrike products and services.

  • Collaborate and provide input on various ad hoc reports as requested.

  • Commit to extended hours at the end of each month and quarter in order to help ensure deals are closed to achieve revenue objectives.

  • Leverage and share with others on the team best practices associated with the activities of everyday work.

  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with peers and key partner teams that we engage with regularly in carrying out key responsibilities in this position.

  • Provide enablement, training, mentoring to new members of the deal desk team on functional responsibilities, core CS offerings, and tool efficiencies.

  • Provide regular process improvement/best practice (what has worked well on an opportunity/ies) to deal desk leadership.

  • Take initiative to present on key business topics to the team as requested or desired.

  • Actively join, engage and participate on key business projects.

  • Can complete assignments in a timely manner. Speedy turnaround process on closing tasks within 1-3 business days

  • Meet established quarterly development/training objectives leveraging your IDP (Individual Development Plan) for guidance. Learn, listen, and collaborate with key cross-functional partners to build trust and rapport.

  • Build a strong understanding of current CS offerings (product, services) to enable critical quote/opp review.

  • Work and build on interpersonal/leadership skills to continuously improve on your personal brand in the company

  • Find, articulate, and drive implementation of innovative opportunities to scale the business to $20B and reduce ‘friction’ where we can.

  • Align to CrowdStrike core values as part of everyday performance of these responsibilities.

  • Ensure timely response and provide resolutions for all queries per standard SLA’s

  • Proactive attitude to problem-solve complex, non-standard terms or requests

  • Work multiple tickets simultaneously to optimize volume of closed tickets during the shift 

What You’ll Need:

  • 4+ years relevant experience (customer service, finance, operations, support)

  • Experienced Salesforce User (CPQ)

  • Strong relationship-building skills

  • Critical thinker, problem-solver

  • Flexible hours; must be available to work extended hours at month and quarter end (including weekends)

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Powerpoint

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $57,000 - $90,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
