We are now looking for a hands-on Senior Engineer to join Betsson as a Team Lead for the Gaming Area. The Gaming Area at Betsson Group focuses on Game Play and Game Discovery across all our brands and markets. We aim to offer the best gaming products in the industry and an exciting user experience when playing on our sites. We cover game lobbies, gaming initiatives, provider integrations and more.
What you will be working on Our Gaming platform is the core of everything we do. It supports all our gaming sites and is central to the company strategy.
You will be part of preparing our journey to containerization, increasing the scalability of our systems while also maintaining their high quality. To accommodate new requirements, we are constantly re-evaluating our systems design and working on exciting new features. You will be part of a passionate team, which is building an industry leading, scalable, multi-brand platform to support 25+ online brands!
Our brands are used by hundreds of thousands of users and growing To sum it up you will be taking our Gaming platform, which is used by a worldwide audience, to a new level!
What you will do
- Manage a team of 7-8 people motivating your team, taking part in recruiting and onboarding, performance reviews, personal development planning and 1-to-1 sessions.
- Close communication with POs, Architects and stakeholders to discuss and implement business requirements.
- Product development to meet the business’s needs and implement components according to the modern software development environment (cloud-based platforms, microservice architecture, etc.).
- Proactive position in solution development and processes improvements.
- Taking part in the decision-making process in design or improvement of application architecture, solution development, architecture and code review.
- Suggesting technology or approach, discussing together with the team and deciding which technologies to use.
- Our teams are cross-functional and all team members focus on not only doing their own tasks but also work together with, and assist, other team members.
- Experience in backend software development for more than 5 years.
- At least 1 year of team management or Scrum Master experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Agile, Scrum methodology.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Agile mindset, business goals orientation.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and API integrations.
