Join Allianz Technology as a Backend Developer in the "Meine Allianz" tribe, where we are transforming the way customers interact with their insurance matters. Within the CoMan team, you will contribute to empowering customers by providing seamless access to their insurance contract data, enabling them to manage their policies, adjust coverage, and connect with their personal contact person effortlessly.

What you do

  • Work in an agile team to drive backend development and operation of services for our applications.
  • Contribute technical expertise to the design of new functions and take end-to-end responsibility for your developments.
  • Actively participate in team discussions and contribute your ideas to improve solutions.
  • Uphold agile values and participate in team activities such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with your teammates to achieve shared goals and deliver high-quality contract management solutions in Meine Allianz.
What you bring
  • Solid knowledge and experience in backend development (Java, Spring, WebServices, SOAP/REST, JUnit).
  • Proficiency in deployment tools and processes (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory).
  • Fundamental understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Hibernate, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, security, and DevOps tools (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ApiGee, OWASP, OIDC).
  • Strong team player with a customer-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for new technologies.
  • Ability to contribute ideas and actively engage in discussions within and outside the team.
  • Experience with agile working methods.
  • Optional interest in frontend web development.
  • Fluency in English. Other languages are highly valuable.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their practical use.
