Join us as an SMB Account Executive, where you'll identify opportunities, close deals, and deliver tailored solutions to SMB accounts while driving revenue growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • New Business Prospecting: Proactively identify and engage SMB prospects through cold calling, social selling, email outreach, and networking.
  • Pipeline Growth: Build and manage a healthy pipeline aligned to Mimecast’s growth goals.
  • Solution Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product demos highlighting Mimecast’s value for SMB customers.
  • Relationship Building: Establish trust with decision-makers by understanding pain points and business needs.
  • Quota Delivery: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success for seamless prospect-to-onboarding experiences.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate activity, lead, and opportunity data in Salesforce.
  • Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and Mimecast’s evolving product suite.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Sales Expertise: Solid foundation in new business acquisition, especially within SMB-focused technology or SaaS environments.
  • Communication Strength: Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
  • Target Orientation: Demonstrated success in consistently achieving sales goals
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or email management solutions.
  • Relationship Skills: Strong rapport-building and negotiation abilities.
  • Self‑Starter Mindset: Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced setting.
  • CRM Skills: Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Hybrid Working Flexibility: This is a hybrid position located in our Lexington, MA office.

The US OTE range for this position is $112,000-$168,000 + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire on-target earnings for this position. This position may also be eligible for other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
